GladeCore Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 20, 2025
Glade Tool Inc. (doing business as Glade Studio, “Glade,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with GladeCore, our on-device large language model (“LLM”), and related developer tools.
1. Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Use of the GladeCore SDK and model on your local device(s).
- Interactions with our website, support services, and communications with us.
- Optional integrations you choose to enable (e.g., ElevenLabs for TTS).
By using GladeCore or contacting us, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. What We Collect
(a) GladeCore SDK
- No Data Collection: GladeCore runs fully on your device. We do not transmit, store, or collect your inputs, outputs, or gameplay data. All processing happens locally.
- Your Control: You (and your end-users) retain full ownership and control over all inputs and outputs.
(b) When You Interact With Us
If you contact us, sign up for updates, or visit our website, we may collect:
- Contact Information (e.g., name, email, company).
- Support Communications (e.g., details you provide when you open a support ticket).
- Website Analytics (e.g., cookies or device information if you visit our site). See Section 6.
(c) Third-Party Services
If you enable integrations (e.g., ElevenLabs TTS), data you provide may be sent to those providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply, not ours.
3. How We Use Information
We may use limited information we collect (outside of the SDK) to:
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Send service updates, notices, and relevant communications.
- Improve our website and developer experience.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your SDK data (inputs, outputs, gameplay content) for training, analytics, or advertising.
4. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only:
- With service providers who help us operate our website, email, or billing systems (under confidentiality obligations).
- If required by law or legal process.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.
5. Data Ownership
You (and your end-users) retain full ownership and rights over all content generated using GladeCore. Glade does not claim, store, or reuse your data.
6. Cookies and Website Analytics
When you visit our website, we may use cookies or analytics tools to understand traffic and improve our services. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may be limited.
GladeCore itself does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
7. Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect any personal information you provide. However, no system is completely secure, and you use our website and services at your own risk.
Because GladeCore is local-first, your SDK data security is fully within your control.
8. Children's Privacy
GladeCore is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have received information from a child under these ages, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Use
If you interact with us from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We will protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information (e.g., access, correction, deletion). To exercise these rights, contact us at glade@gladestudio.ai.
Since we do not collect SDK data, these rights mainly apply to website, support, or account information you provide.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on our website or notify you directly.
